Megon McDonough brings a lifetime of New Thought study and teaching to her role as the spiritual leader of Unity Des Plaines. As a Unity Truth Student, she has studied with some of the most accomplished and revered New Thought teachers and ministers of the last 4 decades. She became a Licensed Religious Science Practitioner in 2008. Becoming the Spiritual Leader of Unity Des Plaines feels like coming home, having been the music minister there from 2011-2019.​Alongside her long career as a professional singer, songwriter, and recording artist, Megon has for many years served as a guest speaker at Unity churches across the country, blending powerful spiritual messages with inspirational music. She believes in the magic of this combination and is thrilled to share it now on a regular basis at Unity Des Plaines. Megon can be seen leading service on Sunday in person or online.
